The story follows on from Monsters of Andorr (Book 10). Gavin, Jeni, Mara and Vale have spent most of another year at The Mount, their mountain home in Andorr. Winter is approaching and with it their fear of Vale being drawn into the Void increases. Shadow has stumbled upon a long forgotten mine in the Andorran Highlands where slaves are being used to mine the rich veins of gold. Gavin, Jeni and a team of dragon guards are waiting for King Thimo to ‘discover’ the mine and rescue the slaves.
It is a slow start; there are many challenges and changes ahead for the Dragon Lords.
